Settings in Treasury and Risk Management

Procedure:

Customizing
In Customizing for Exposure Management 2.0 in Treasury and Risk Management, you need to make the following settings to be able to use the automatic integration with Logistics.
  • You need to make the Customizing settings for Exposure Management 2.0. For general information about the Customizing settings for Exposure Management 2.0, see Setting Up Exposure Management 2.0 as well as the documentation on the IMG activities.
  • Special notes on the Customizing settings relating to the integration:
    1. Under   Treasury and Risk Management  General Settings  Exposure Management 2.0  Define Exposure Activity Types  , you need to define exposure activity types for the exposure notifications received from Logistics. You need to assign one of the following commodity exposure approach categories to each of the exposure activity types:
      • 2 Fixed Prices
      • 3 Variable Prices
      • 4 Fixed and Variable Prices
    2. Under   Treasury and Risk Management  General Settings  Exposure Management 2.0  Integration with Logistics  Assign Exposure Activity Types and Transaction Categories for Incoming Exposures  , you use various criteria to specify which exposure activity type and which transaction category are assigned to the incoming exposure notifications.
You can use the BAdI: Change Assignment of Exposure Activity Types / Transaction Categories to change this assignment on the basis of additional criteria.
If you have not used TRM previously, you also need to make the Customizing settings for the financial instruments that you want to use to hedge your risks. If you also want to use the Market Risk Analyzer functions, you also have to make the required settings here and activate the integration of operative exposures.
Master Data
  • In Treasury and Risk Management under   Financial Risk Management for Commodities  Master Data  Commodity   (transaction FCZZ), you need to create the commodities that you require.
  • In Customizing for Logistics under   Logistics - General  Integration with Treasury and Risk Management  Assign Commodity IDs to Condition Types  , establish the connection between the commodity ID used in TRM and the condition type used in Logistics.
